It is week 11 term 2.It is the last week of term 2.We have had an amazing term,we have learnt lots of new things inside and outside class.Mrs Paterson and Miss Scheyvens are very good teachers.We have learnt decimals and percentages and also area and perimeter.We have learnt about different types of writing and I have really improved because i now have more descriptive language in my writing.

 Yesterday was the best day because I did mural fish art I did a dark blue fish it was so cool.

                      Term. 2 

Wow it is nearly the end of term 2. We have done lots of exiting things like Mrs Nicols 25 years of being at Solway Primary School.We had a special assembly for her.The senior kapa haka performed a waita and a haka.The haka was Ko Waiarapa and was lead by Leighton.Some people gave speeches about being at Solway.Mrs Nicol sat on a throne with a crown and reserved gifts.Each class gave her a gift.Kahikatea gave Mrs Nicol a card witch Leah and Takumi gave her. I have had a great term 2 and am looking forward to term 3.

6 more days !

6 more days until i fly to Greece. Im very excited. We are going on 5 planes and wont get to greece until early Tuesday morning nz time. My dad will be sleeping when we finally arrive.

Amazing Kahikatea

Kahikatea is an amazing class I love it so much!

Its week 8 and term 2 at Solway primary and we have learnt so much in just 1 term and 8 weeks.Today we had Miss Scheyvens and guess what its her birthday,today we did some writing about the sun and wrote it on a long strip of felt and we also drew and cut out a sun.I did my sun as an optical  ulison  and it looks very nice and they are all hanging up in kahikatea and WOW they look really amazing we walk through them. Some people have some really great similes hanging up ( oops sorry I didin't mention we did them as similes. I cant walt until tommrow we will be doing some amazing work tommrow and I know it will be fun,Miss Scheyvens will be teaching us.

Last weekend I went to a tramp and skate park in petone for my birthday it was a shame I pulled a muscle  in my back be for we left so I couldint bounce as much at the tramp park at the tramp park there was a doge ball part and a foam pit also a hope and a bouncing part I was taking photos and I was bouncing it was fun.

Wow it's week 7 term 2  and the time has flown.Mrs Paterson has started teaching us about decimals and percentages we know heaps already.😃The cross country was last week I didn't do it because 2 years ago I broke my foot and they casted it wrong so it's still painful and may still be broken they said it would be perfect in 1-2 years BUT NO it's not so I'm going back to hospital soon.
Izzy won the year 6 race.😄😃😀We have the book fair at school I have 5 books and they are all so interesting😄😛

Hi
In three weeks I'm going to England WOO HOO!
I'm going to England in six days and were leaving at ten thirty in the morning.
We're going to Lego-Land,butterfly land, long leat (it's a safari park) and a lot of other really cool places I'm going to be putting posts of me in England,where we are and who were with.
I'm going for six weeks including flights and spending a few nights in hotels.
When I get back I'll have tons to talk about with my class and friends!
It will be really fun and I can't wait to get back.
