                     Week 5 2014 term 4 
It's week 5 and Monday. Well i'll talk more of last week then Monday today. Last week on Thursday around about 5 o'clock it was year 5 camp and  was so excited but it was at school not at Mt Holdsworth buts that's all right because I think we would have had the same type of fun like what we would have had at Mt Holdsworth . It was a little cold at night but not that cold. We also had a walk that was fun and went over the swing bridge. I had a 10 out of 10 day and night. I loved SO much.

This week on wednesday it is going to be book character day and I am going as Where is Wolly??. It is going to be  a fun  day because we all are dressing up in our costumes.

                           Week 4 Term 4   3/11/14
It's already week 4  of term 4 WOW! Well it's only Monday. I'll also talk about all the other weeks before this week. Tararua team were doing athletics high jump, long jump and quoit/vortex. We did jump jam and my class Kahikatea were on the deck for my first ever time! I enjoy dancing on deck to tower over all the other kids and to watch them dance to the songs but I also have to watch the screen to know the action while the song is playing. I really think jump jam should be every week but Friday I think that's what Solway Primary should really change in there school. But it's still good how it is but if Solway make that one change i'll be even happy with Solway then ever!

In the holidays

On friday I went to the moves. I sore how to train your dragon 2 . my favorite part was when hiccup realized that his mum was stile alive.

             Term 2 ends Term 3 starts

 Term 2 in kahikatea has been awesome we have beeen doing amazing things like leaping over  the volt in gymnastics,wizing through the basic fact-athon,learning heaps in learn-now and especially 
hanging with my friends.But i always know next term  will be even BETTER!

Term 2 reflection

Term 2 was awesome because me and Amelia got chosen to go to be inspired conference  it was amazing I was definitely inspired.
My favorite part was The Zoo trip it was awesome.We also had our mini beasts study i was studying a lady bug

Hi Kahikatea
Well it's certainly been a wow of a term. We are nearly at the end of the term. What was the best part? For me it was the zoo trip. I loved watching the behaviour of the orangutan's and enjoyed the video of what we followed up with in class.
I think a lot of you achieved your personal goals. We will carry on with our place mat system and we will have new goals for term 3.
WE WILL HAVE  CELEBRATION SHARED LUNCH ON THE LAST DAY OF TERM.
HAVE  GREAT HOLIDAY!

Week 8

Week 8 has been awesome people came to look at our school most of the time I was sick but it was still fun today I have learn now it's awesome.on Monday we welcomed airo by having an assembly we sang he Horne and the national anthem.

On Friday Kahikatea Kauri and Kowhai went to Wairarapa  College to see a show named Mana of polynesia the person who did it was really talented  he did a slap dance a maori poi dance a samoan dance and a american indian dance it was a big week ,week 2 .

Reflection of week 2.
On Friday we went wairarapa college . We saw a one man show called Mana Spirit of Polonaisea. He did some awesome dances. He used seven hula hoops to make  a butterfly, bumble bee, eagle, flower and a box.

Term one 2014

O MG today we went to Isaac 's  house because in class we are talking about our favorite sport and Isaac's dad does side car racing and the amazing part is that we got to see his side car it was cool. By Tayla

week 11 2014

This week has been so cool and what a learnt in Maths  is place value and halving. For reading time we had to pick a book that went with  the same sheet and i picked pirates, time,  from a grain to pita,Ayu  and  the perfect moon and even bread has a home. For writing we had to write about hot air balloons and then on Wednesday we had to write about the tiger,i did very well. By Tayla

This week has been awesome,apart from the fact that  Mrs Paterson hurt her foot.its been very busy with miss blackwood and Mrs shayvens its been fun doing art though but its been sooooo cool.but i really miss Mrs Paterson

It has been a good week at school.
We have had a very normal week but i like normal.
Kahikatea have had Mrs Garland teaching us on Wednesday that was fun.

I was called up to the teacher "breath stroke 25 meters lane 5 Luke lane 6 Jake" 

my heart was pounding my body was shaking wildly Jake bet me once but I'm going to beat him this time...The race was on! I dived but I failed one leg went forward. I swept the water behind me and I touched the end. I looked back I won.

when  Mrs Meade   called my name up for the
4 lengths of  freestyle at the swimming sports i was so nervous because i had to phase siena.When i walked 
down the side of the pool i had butterfly's 
in my tummy.i thought i would be sick. Anyway back to swimming. when  i dived in
my heart was pounding there we go i said  to my self you can do yay i came second and not by 
far well at least Siena  came first.!

I hade a grate weeke this weeke because we went to ucol. we lernt all about one dich of yum food.

My week

This week was awesome It was swimming sports and we went to ucol and learnt about healthy kai and we got to taste the food he made for us,it was sooooooooo delicious.
ok so about swimming sports this is how it all happened.I was so nervous just watching all the length races.Finally it was the width races,my heart was pounding 100 miles an hour.Anyway for my freestyle I came 1st,then for backstroke I came 3rd,then for dolphin dive I came 3rd as well.
 Well anyway times up guys!

I have enjoyed swimming sports i came 1st in backstroke 1st in freestyle and 3d in breaststroke.When i was sitting in the stands i was so nervious. The first stroke was freestyle then breast then back. I have also enjoyed writing 'A Moment In Time' I had a cool picture of some hot cross buns {they looked really nice!}And I had a picture of a house on the mountions.

Week 4 term 1

Today I went swimming, I'm getting better at my backstroke.I also went to swimming sports. I had awesome fun.

week 3 term 1 2014

Today is swimming sports i am so excited.

 I am in 2 lengths freestyle,1 length backstroke ,1 length breaststroke,1 width dolphin diving and the relay.

I did so great yesterday!
